CA Foundation Exam Form
Registering for the CA Foundation course is the first step, but it’s essential to also fill out the exam form to inform ICAI about your intention to appear in the exams. You can access the CA Foundation Exam form from the ICAI portal and need to pay the required examination fees.
Along with the exam form, candidates must also attest to the CA Foundation declaration form. This form validates that the submitted and attested documents are original and not fake.
In case there are any discrepancies in the registration details provided by the candidate, such as the registration number not matching ICAI records, you may be offered provisional registration due to unavoidable circumstances.
Make sure to complete the exam form accurately and meet the deadlines to avoid any issues with your exam registration.
CA Foundation Admit Card
Admit cards are essential to enter the examination hall, and ICAI typically issues them 14 days before the exams. However, they no longer send admit cards physically or offline. Now, you can easily download your CA Foundation admit card online from the ICAI website.
To avoid last-minute hassles, make sure to take a printout of the admit card at least 10 days before the exam. You can download the admit card a maximum of three times, so it’s a good idea to have 3-4 photocopies of it for extra precaution. If you notice any errors in the center or medium of the exam (which may be a result of incorrect details submitted during the application process), don’t worry. You have the opportunity to rectify such errors after downloading the admit card.
Make sure to carry your admit card and other necessary documents to the exam hall on the day of the CA Foundation exam.
Correction Window for CA Foundation
The ICAI provides two correction windows for students who need to make changes to their exam form. The first correction window allows students to make changes to their Center/Medium without any fees within one week after the last date of submitting the Examination form.
If a student needs to make corrections after the free window period, they can still do so in the second correction window, but this time they will be required to pay a correction fee of Rs. 1000/- per application. This correction window is generally open for changes up to one week before the exam. Under any circumstances, the ICAI will not entertain requests made immediately before 7 days.
It’s important to keep track of these correction windows and make necessary changes within the specified timeframes to avoid any issues during the exam process.
