CA Foundation Exam Dates for June 2024: Exam Pattern, Result
The CA Foundation June 2024 exam dates is set to begin on June 20, 2024. The CA Foundation admit card for the June 2024 exam was released on June 5, 2024, and can be downloaded from the ICAI e-services website. The exam will be conducted in various cities across India and at 8 overseas locations.
Earlier, ICAI organized two mock test phases for CA Foundation in May and June 2024. Candidates had to appear for the CA Foundation mock tests by logging into the ICAI BOS knowledge portal or mobile app.

Understanding the ICAI CA Foundation Exam
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts the ICAI CA Foundation Exam, also known as the CA Exam, for individuals aspiring to pursue the Chartered Accountancy profession in India. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the CA qualification holds equivalence to a postgraduate degree.
The CA Exam is structured into three distinct levels, each representing a phase of the CA course. To attain the Chartered Accountant designation, candidates must successfully clear all three levels. The levels in sequential order are:

ICAI CA Foundation Exam Process
- Apply for CA Foundation Course
- Register for the CA Foundation course on the ICAI website.
- Complete the study duration and fill out the exam application form.
- Use existing login credentials if registered previously.
- Download ICAI CA Foundation Admit Card
- Admit cards are released online about fifteen days before the exam.
- To appear in the exams, download the admit card.
- Appear for CA Exams

The ICAI conducts the CA Foundation exam tri-annually, with exams scheduled in January, May, and September.
- Exams are conducted in online mode at designated examination centres.
- Candidates must appear for all papers to clear the level.

ICAI CA Foundation Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates aspiring to enroll in the CA Foundation programme must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from the Central or State Board of Education before the examination.
- Registration Requirement:
- Must have registered with the Board of Studies on or before 30 June of the examination year.
- Must have changed to the CA Foundation Course with the Board of Studies of ICAI on or before September 7 of the examination year.
