1. Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field from a recognized university.
2. Minimum Marks: Graduates from the commerce stream are required to have a minimum of 55% in their graduation degree.
3. Higher Marks for Science and Humanities Graduates: Graduates from the science and humanities streams should have achieved at least 60% marks in their graduation degree.
4. Equivalent Qualifications: Graduates who have passed the Intermediate level of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWA) are also eligible for the CA Direct Entry scheme.

Provisional Registration for Graduation Final Year:

1. If you are in your final year of graduation, you can provisionally enroll in the Intermediate course after providing proof of passing the graduation test with the required grades. This allows you to begin your articleship training.
2. Within six months of passing the final graduation exam, you must complete the Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS), which includes the Orientation Program and Information Technology. Please note that you can undertake ICITSS while registering provisionally.
3. Failure to produce proof of completing ICITSS within the specified time frame will result in the cancellation of your registration and any associated fees. No refunds or credits will be provided for theoretical knowledge gained during the provisional registration period.

Direct Entry Scheme:

1. Graduates eligible for the direct entry scheme can register for the Intermediate level of the CA course after graduation.
2. Before commencing practical training, it is mandatory to complete the ICITSS course, which is a one-month online program covering topics such as computer applications, accounting software, and taxation. This course is compulsory for all CA students, including those following the direct entry route.
3. Upon successful completion of the ICITSS course, you can initiate your practical training. A chartered accountant supervises this three-year apprenticeship (two years for new registrations under the new scheme). During practical training, you gain hands-on experience in areas like accounting, auditing, and taxation.
4. After completing nine months of practical training, you become eligible to appear in the CA Intermediate exams.
