About CA Foundation (India’s Best CA Coaching Classes)
The CA Foundation course is the initial examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for individuals aiming to become Chartered Accountants (CAs). It serves as the introductory step in the journey towards achieving this prestigious qualification. The CA Foundation course was introduced by ICAI as part of the revised CA curriculum, replacing the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) in 2017.
Eligibility Criteria for CA Foundation
Candidates are eligible to register for the CA Foundation Course after successfully passing the Class 10th Examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government or the State Government as equivalent thereto.

Exemption from CA Foundation
Eligibility Criteria for Exemption:
- Graduates, post-graduates, and students with equivalent degrees are exempt from the CA Foundation exam.
- Commerce graduates with 55% and other graduates with 60% marks can directly enroll in the CA Intermediate course.

Cut-off Dates for Admission to CA Foundation Course
Students interested in pursuing the CA Foundation course must register online for the course. The last dates for registration (admission) for the CA Foundation Course with ICAI for the May and November examinations are as follows:
- For the June term examination: 1st February for the June attempt
- For the September term examination: 1st May for the September attempt
- For the December term examination: 1st August for the December attempt

Registration Fee for CA Foundation Course
- The registration fee for the CA Foundation Course is Rs. 9200.
- CA Foundation course registration is valid for three years, allowing up to six attempts.
- Even after three years, registration can be revalidated for a further three years by depositing Rs. 300 as revalidation fees.
Last Date of Examination Application Form for CA Foundation
The last date for submitting the CA Foundation examination application form for the May and November term examinations is as follows:
- For the June term Examination: 1st February
- For the September term Examination: 1st May
- For the January term Examination: 1st September

Syllabus of CA Foundation Course
The syllabus for the CA Foundation Course is divided into four papers, consisting of eight subjects. The CA Foundation exam is partially subjective and objective, totaling 400 marks.
- Paper 1: ACCOUNTING – 100 Marks
- Paper 2: BUSINESS LAWS – 100 Marks
- Paper 3: QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE
- Part A: Business Mathematics – 40 Marks
- Part B: Logical Reasoning – 20 Marks
- Part C: Statistics – 40 Marks
- Paper 4: BUSINESS ECONOMICS – 100 Marks
Papers 1 & 2 are subjective type, while Papers 3 & 4 are objective type. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in objective type papers.

Passing Criteria for CA Foundation
A student is declared to have passed the Foundation examination if they obtain, at one sitting:
- A minimum of 40% marks in each paper, and
- A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the papers.
Declaration of India’s Best CA Foundation (Coaching Classes) Result
The results of the CA Foundation Examination conducted in June and December are expected to be declared as follows:
